Art Lab Todi

Art Lab Todi is a private jewellery school based in the historic city of Todi, in Umbria, central Italy. It runs recreational and professional courses that can accommodate up to 12 students, but also offers one-to-one lessons. The courses can be taken for complete beginners and also teach advanced practices in jewellery skills.

Our Workshops

Our Make a Ring in a Day is the most popular beginners course. Annealing, texturing, forming and soldering, the day includes up to 8g of silver

Professional Courses can be over a number of days or weeks and will explore skills that the learner requires

Students can come with their own projects. This was a vodka shot vessel raised in Britannia silver using traditional silver smithing techniques

Our two-day and longer courses are ideal for those who have more time and want to go deeper into the craft. Hobby jewellers and those with metalwork experience
If you already have some experience with metal and want to build on it in a fully equipped professional workshop, we offer courses tailored to your level. Stephen works with you on the techniques and projects that are most relevant to where you are in your practice.
